Our CEO

Welcome to Mambourin’s website.
My name is Rohan Braddy and I am proud to be the CEO of Mambourin, a highly respected organisation which supports more than 400 people and their families through the quality provision of a range of specialist disability support services.
In recent years, Mambourin has grown very significantly in size, and has become a leading provider of disability services in the state. Mambourin’s staff use highly individualised, person-centred and strength based approaches in the development of services.
I am a member of the National Disability Services Victoria Committee and the National Board of National Disability Services and through our NDS membership, together with a range of other sector-level involvements, we ensure that Mambourin remains at the forefront of information flow regarding changes in the sector, and gleans best practice from wherever it occurs.
Prior to joining Mambourin, I taught in various schools in Australia and internationally over a 15 year career and I continue to access my education networks and to use my qualifications and experience to drive an outcomes-based approach in the planning of all service delivery.
I believe whole-heartedly that universal access to disability services recognised as a human right and funded by a national disability insurance scheme should be our sector’s primary objective in the coming years. To this end, Mambourin has made a sizeable commitment to the campaign, and I am working actively to encourage others to do the same.
I support the principle that people with a disability should be supported to pursue individual lifestyles, by being respected and having their rights promoted and safeguarded, and by strengthening the disability support system so that people’s individual needs can be met.
However, I am acutely aware of the significant challenges facing the sector including changing service models and service demands, increasing complexity of client need, increasing levels of unmet demand, changing business requirements and pressures, and increased compliance responsibilities, and I work tirelessly to assist our organisation to meet and overcome these challenges.
I believe that a key role of a CEO is to maintain constant communication with and between all key stakeholder groups and I have a passion for the delivery of disability services of the highest quality. Please feel free to make contact with me to discuss any disability issues.
