Mambourin’s 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Monday 28 October. The evening kicked off with a presentation from Jake (pictured above), who shared his journey from trainee to full time employee at Mambourin. His story was truly inspiring and provided an awesome snapshot of the great work that happens across Mambourin in opening opportunities for people to get what they want out of life.
In his Chair’s report, Paul Larcher extended his gratitude and sincere thanks to all staff for their hard work and dedication.
CEO Rohan Braddy highlighted some elements from the Annual Report, including the strength of our organisational values, the changes the NDIS has brought, the growth of our hubs and the fantastic outcomes that so many people we support have achieved.
Following the CEO’s report and a short address from National Disability Services state manager Fiona Still, the names of service certificate recipients were read, with an incredible 43 people receiving certificates for service or attendance of between 10 and 50 years!

The directors elected or re-elected onto the board were also announced at the AGM: James Barrie, Paul Larcher, Barbara MacKinnon, Emanuel Tumino and Edmund Wong.
David Markus chose to retire following the end of this AGM cycle. We would like to thank David for volunteering his time and expertise during the past three years. We would also like to thank Cory Becker, Vittoria Chiarella and Afrroz Hudli who retired during the last financial year for their wonderful contributions.
We are incredibly grateful to all our directors for taking on this important role in ensuring the strong performance of our organisation.
