Warehouse Leading Hand Mentor

Full-time permanent position

About the role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Mentoring supported employees and trainees in warehouse operations (which can include pick packing, product assembly and labelling etc.)
  • Warehouse supervision and assistance
  • Quality control of goods
  • Job bookings
  • Stocktaking, ensuring accuracy of inventory and the accurate and timely dispatch of client orders
  • Completing daily reflections and mentoring logs

Skills and experience

  • Experience in a similar mentoring warehousing role
  • Previous experience in an employment service supporting people with disability is highly desirable, preferably in warehousing / packaging or broad industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience and competency in people management, coaching and mentoring would be advantageous
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Forklift licence essential
  • Certificate IV in Disability would be an advantage

This is a full-time permanent role, based in Derrimut, 38 hours of work per week – 8am to 4pm.

You will be required to undergo an online psychometric assessment as part of the recruitment process.  You will also need to complete a current police check and Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme (DWES) check and return a result that is satisfactory to Mambourin.
