Gaming hub: come and try night

Calling Melton gamers!

Our after-hours gaming hub is open to gamers of all abilities and experience.

We are excited to launch our weekly after-hours gaming night on 29 September.

The gaming hub is all about having fun in a friendly and supported competitive environment.

Come along to:

  • learn and play video games using a range of different consoles
  • socialise and have fun
  • develop skills in a cooperative and competitive environment
  • get active with Virtual Reality
  • build literacy and numeracy skills
  • play board games.

You will have the opportunity to play different consoles including Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Occulus Quest 2 (VR) and Gaming Computers.

People of all abilities are welcome – from complete beginners to experienced gamers. We will also have board games available for people who are interested.

Who is eligible for this program?

This program is available to adults who have NDIS funding with a core support budget.

Are there out of pocket costs?

There will be an out of pocket cost of $8 per person, per session. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Where will the program be held?

The program is at our Melton Community Hub:

20 McKenzie Street, Melton

Transport will not be provided. Parking is available on Smith Street.

When will the program run?

Come and Try Night and enrolments:

Thursday 29 September 4pm – 7pm

Program:

Every Thursday from 13 October – 15 December

Time: 4pm – 7pm
